How to Navigate Difficult Mental Health Days

How to Navigate Difficult Mental Health Days

Mental health affects everyone’s lives in some way. I’ve always believed in the importance of normalizing the conversation around mental health and the power of sharing our experiences. It creates understanding, connection, and the knowing that we are not alone.

In this episode, I open up about a recent struggle with my anxiety and depression. I get real and vulnerable about what I experienced, and then I share what most helped me get through it.

Tune in to explore five meaningful and actionable ways to navigate difficult mental health days. These practices are:

  • Allow yourself to feel the way you feel
  • Get it out
  • Prioritize your self-care
  • Give yourself grace
  • Trust that it will pass

I really believe keeping these five strategies in mind was what helped me move through this anxious/depressive episode effectively and meaningfully. In the episode, I go in depth into each one, sharing examples, anecdotes, and guidance to help you bring each of these into your own life.

If you struggle with your mental health, I hope you find comfort, connection, and hope in this episode. You are not alone, and you always have the strength to carry yourself through the more difficult phases of your mental health.
