Finding Empowerment in Receiving Support

Finding Empowerment in Receiving Support

Sometimes, asking for help can be a scary, vulnerable, and difficult thing to do. But receiving support is one of the most natural parts of being human. I believe everyone has everything they need already within them, but I also believe none of us have to go through this life without any support.

In today’s episode, we’re exploring the concept of receiving support. I talk about some of the fears that might come up when asking for help, how to believe you’re worthy of receiving support, seeking the right support to receive, and all of the amazing benefits of receiving support.

I’ve also included some reflection questions throughout the episode to help you think about how the concept of receiving support shows up in your own life. Taking the time to answer these questions for yourself will strengthen your self-awareness and may lead you to some surprising realizations.

And at the end of the episode, I share more details about the Self-Empowerment Coaching that I offer and the type of support you could receive from me if you decide you’d like to work together.

I hope this episode helps you realize that support is all around you, even if you can’t always see it. And I also hope it helps you remember that asking for help does not make you weak, admitting that you can’t get through something alone does not diminish your capabilities, and receiving support is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.
